A short story about us

Ever since graduating from the University of Southampton with a degree in Spanish, Paul Gill —founder of Almería Trips— has been captivated by Spain, its language, and its culture. He has called Andalucía home for nearly three decades, travelling widely across the country and continually discovering new facets of its people, traditions and landscapes. Highlights of this journey include attending a three-week seminar on comparative literature in Galicia during his student years, walking the Camino de Santiago, and exploring some of Spain’s most remarkable historic buildings, museums, and galleries. This knowledge, experience, and a passion to share Spanish culture have all come together in Almería Trips, where our mission is simple: to give visitors an enjoyable and memorable taste of the “real Spain” beyond the costas.
