Following the path of old, disused mining railtracks, we’ll explore an area rich in industrial history. The mining heritage is still visible all around us—set against a backdrop of towering mountains, deep gorges, and panoramic views. Along the way, we’ll pass a charming village, a picturesque fountain, smallholdings and the ruins of an abandoned Moorish mosque.

Walking time: Approx. 2.5 hours

Ascent: Approx. 200 m

Difficulty: Moderate

Participants must be confident, have a decent level of fitness and able to walk on rough ground

Hotel pick-up and drop-off included (Vera Playa / Mojácar Playa area)

Pick-up time: Approximately 7:30 am

Return time: Approximately 1:30 pm

What to bring/wear: Comfortable clothing, sturdy walking shoes or boots, hat, suncream and water
