Cabo de Gata Walking Week – January 2026

Join us for our first-ever small-group Walking Week in the breathtaking Cabo de Gata–Níjar UNESCO Global Geopark!
Taking place in the final week of January, this special event offers the perfect blend of enjoyment, nature, and sunshine in one of Europe’s most captivating landscapes.
Cabo de Gata Natural Park is a spectacular region of dormant volcanoes, fossilised coral reefs, golden dunes, and dry ramblas (riverbeds) — a paradise for walkers and nature lovers.
With very little rainfall, average daytime temperatures around 17°C, and nearly 10 hours of sunshine per day, January is a wonderful time to explore this unique corner of Andalusia.
Recognised as a UNESCO Global Geopark since 2015, Cabo de Gata–Níjar is home to an extraordinary range of flora and fauna that thrive in its semi-arid environment.
